The buying guide / Swim spas
Your pace. Your water. Your routine.
A swim spa can put short, repeatable movement sessions and a place to relax in the same backyard footprint.
Why people choose it
Move without making a day of it.
Water buoyancy supports low-impact movement with less load on joints. An adjustable current lets people practice, exercise or swim in place, while seating gives the household another way to use the water. Ask for a wet test to feel the current for yourself.
- Movement
Make sessions repeatable
Walk, stretch or swim at home on a schedule that works for your household.
- Current
Compare the water
Jet and turbine systems feel different. Test the current and check how much unobstructed swim space remains.
- Sharing
Keep room to unwind
Compare recovery seating, steps and family space alongside the swim lane.
The details to compare
Feel it. See it. Plan it.
Feature to compare
Start with the current.
Compare the feel, width and adjustability of each system. Platinum original models use river jets; select Pro models use a turbine. Bullfrog Swim Series has its own adjustable current design.

Finishes and fit
Plan the whole footprint.
Compare cabinet and shell finishes on the exact model, then confirm a level base, access path, electrical needs and cover clearance before deciding where it goes.
Plan delivery and installationWater exercise is not a substitute for medical care; benefits and suitable intensity vary by person.
