A clear path. Measure gates, side yards, steps and tight turns from the street to the spot.
Power in place. A licensed electrician installs the circuit before delivery day.

Power, plain and simple.
Most hot tubs need a dedicated 240V circuit. Bullfrog hot tubs run on a 240V, 50A GFCI circuit; most Platinum hot tubs on 220-240V, 50 or 60A.
Plug-in hot tubs: Bullfrog A5D, X5L, X6R and Calm6 with the factory 120V option, and Platinum Reims and St Tropez on a standard 120V, 15A outlet.
Swim spas need a dedicated 240V circuit. Bullfrog lists 50A or 60A for its Swim Series.
Saunas: the heater sets the circuit. Your electrician sizes it to the heater you pick.
From each maker's published install guides. Your showroom confirms the exact requirement for your model.
