The Traditional 220 is the largest model in Hekla's traditional sauna range, with seating for up to six. It heats with an electric heater and stones, and suits a big family or friends who sauna together.
In the box: water bucket, ladle, hygrometer & thermometer, sauna timer.
What you get inside.
- Toughened glass door
- 8 mm toughened safety glass on a soft-close hinge. It frames the view and holds the heat in.
- Aspen-lined interior
- Knot-free thermo-aspen cladding stays cool to the touch and fills the cabin with a soft, resinous scent.
- Concealed LED lighting
- A warm, dimmable strip tucked beneath the backrest washes the timber with light and no glare.
- Tiered benches
- Two bench heights. Sit low and gentle, or climb to the top bench for full, enveloping heat.
- Solid timber frame
- A structural timber surround, precision-jointed to take a lifetime of daily heat cycles.
What regular sessions do.
A traditional sauna heats the room to 158 to 194°F. Ten to twenty minutes, a cool-down, and repeat. Here is what regular sessions do, in Hekla's words.
